CACLP 2025: Record-Breaking Attendance and Global Engagement Propel the IVD Industry Forward

The 22nd China International In Vitro Diagnostics Expo by CACLP and the 5th China IVD Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) took place from 22¨C24 March 2025 in Hangzhou, achieving unprecedented scale and impact. CACLP 2025 attracted a record-breaking 45,071 professional visitors, marking a 5.4% increase over the previous year. Notably, international attendance more than doubled, with visitors from over 60 countries and regions, reaffirming CACLP¡¯s growing global influence and strategic importance within the in vitro diagnostic (IVD) industry.


Spanning 130,000 square meters across seven major halls, the event hosted 1,350 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, making it one of the most internationally diverse editions to date. The exhibition featured eight specialized zones¡ªInstruments & Reagents, Raw Materials, Consumables, Components, General Laboratory Equipment, Supply Chain Solutions, the International Pavilion, and the newly launched Veterinary Diagnosis Pavilion¡ªdelivering comprehensive coverage of the entire IVD chain while highlighting emerging frontiers.


The enhanced exhibition layout further promoted global exchange, spotlighting exhibitor groups from Canada and Germany, and active participation from industry players across India, South Korea, Switzerland, the U.K., the U.S., and Vietnam. For the first time, government agencies, regulatory authorities, medical associations, and companies hosted roadshows in upgraded Presentation Areas. These 10- and 20-minute presentations provoked in-depth dialogues on diverse industry trends and market access and attracted strong attention from professional participants.


To amplify its global reach, CACLP 2025 leveraged digital platforms, livestreaming expo tours, conference sessions, and product showcases. With its highest-ever turnout, expanded global participation, and increasingly diverse programming, CACLP 2025 firmly cemented its reputation as one of the world¡¯s largest and most influential IVD events, all while underscoring China¡¯s vital role in the global diagnostics ecosystem.

Another major highlight was the robust lineup of over 300 academic and business activities from 21-23 March, including the 10th China Experimental Medicine Conference (CEMC) and series sessions, welcomed leading academicians, hospital presidents, and biomedical experts to discuss advancements in AI-driven diagnostics, laboratory quality management and personalized treatment. The 12th China IVD Industry Development Conference (CIIDC) provided key insights into sustainability, emerging tech, investment strategies, and global healthcare developments, while also officially presenting the Annual Report of China IVD Industry 2024, which delivered authoritative market analysis and trend forecasts.


Other key industry events included Enlightening Lab Med ¨C The 8th IVD Youth Entrepreneur Forum (ELMY), the 7th China IVD Distribution Enterprise Forum (CIDEF), and the 5th China Key Raw Material & Parts Forum (CKRMPF), covering topics such as entrepreneurial innovation, distribution trends, and advancements in raw material standardization and quality.


In addition to its well-established conferences and forums, CACLP 2025 introduced four highly anticipated sessions addressing key transformations in the industry. The 1st AI & Digital Twin Technology Academic Salon provided insights into the integration of AI in diagnostics, accelerating the shift toward intelligent and precision-driven healthcare. The 1st Human-to-Animal Medical Device Transition Forum, co-hosted with the East and West Small Animal Veterinary Conference, explored how human diagnostic innovations are shaping the veterinary market. The 1st National Primary Healthcare Laboratory Forum focused on quality control, test standardization, and expanding access to advanced diagnostics in grassroots laboratories. Meanwhile, the 1st China IVD Companies Globalization Forum provided essential guidance on international regulatory pathways and expansion strategies.
